CAWAS CEO, participated in a 2-day training organized by UNFPA

CAWAS CEO, Leinyuy Saber Emelienne, participated in a 2-day training organized by UNFPA aimed at strengthening the capacity of Women-Led Organizations (WLOs) to become sustainable and resilient. The training focused on equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their leadership, management, and advocacy capabilities.

It focuses on the following areas;

  • Organizational Development,
  • Financial Sustainability,
  • Advocacy and Networking,
  • Monitoring and Evaluation.

The training aimed to empower WLOs to drive positive change in their communities, promoting women's rights and empowerment. UNFPA's initiative recognizes the critical role WLOs play in ensuring response during emergencies and sustaining long-term development outcomes.

By participating in this training, CAWAS CEO is expected to enhance her organization's capacity to address pressing issues, including gender-based violence, reproductive health, and economic empowerment, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society.
